
ASSOCIATE HEALTHCARE CONSULTANTS
Exciting opportunity to join an expanding team of LEAN coaches who are delivering a programme of training into GP practices. The aim is to work with people and different areas of healthcare helping to promote better and more effective working.
Preferably, experience of Six Sigma and Lean processes with a background of working within the healthcare environment. You will be part of a team of Consultants delivering proven six sigma principles with a fundamental knowledge of the Primary Care sector. Working knowledge and application of different business improvement approaches is required.
A strong team player, it is also important that you are commercially minded and ambitious to succeed. We are looking for consultants who are happy to travel and thrive in a continuously changing environment.
You should have the following skills & experience:
- Experience of working in a continuous improvement culture
- Knowledge and application of different business improvement approaches
- Proven facilitation skills and Client relationships
- Confidently deliver training and meeting days to agreed project deadlines
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in a healthcare project environment
- Grounded and substantial project management knowledge
- A fundamental knowledge of the Primary Care sector and General Practice
- Proven ability to write reports
- Understanding of Lean or Six Sigma principles
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and facilitating client facing development sessions
- Transfer Lean skills and knowledge to the client using pre-prepared materials
- Facilitate the learning for the client enabling them to take on activities themselves to deliver change
- Deliver product through “Brief/Simulate/Do”
- Take responsibility for delivery of an on site facilitation and off site liaison, post session write ups, and post support write ups in a story pack including outcomes
- Ensure datasets and surveys are completed
- Managing workload through effective planning and prioritisation ensuring achievement of KPI targets
- Support Managing Consultant with sector specific requests and targets
LOCATION – UK
Contract - 6 - 12 months
SALARY - £450 - £500 per day with expenses
