An exciting opportunity for a talented individual with excellent people management skills to take on the role of Operations Director for a global manufacturing company with operations in the UK, Ireland, and beyond. As the company looks to improve its current operations and expand its reach and in time increase revenue, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a new management team and make a significant impact.

Working closely with an experienced MD and other leaders, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in addressing the company's challenges and implementing a successful turnaround strategy. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership competencies, including trustworthiness, adaptability, empathy, and dedication.

In addition to these qualities, the ideal candidate will have a background in industrial manufacturing or engineering, and have transformation experience, with P&L ownership and a strong commercial acumen. It is essential to have a deep understanding of LEAN methodology, and experience implementing process/continuous improvement projects.

As Operations Director, you will be responsible for building and and implementing LEAN principles throughout the organization. You will lead a team of approximately 70 people, with the potential to grow as sales improve.
