As a Finance Expert with SAP and LEAN/Change experience, you will play a vital role in optimising financial processes driving efficiency, and implementing change initiatives within a manufacturing business that is about to go through an exciting period of change and growth and in order to do that needs the right financial systems and structures in place. Your expertise in finance, coupled with your knowledge of SAP and LEAN methodologies, will enable you to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline operations, and deliver strategic financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Process Optimisation:
- Assess and analyse existing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to streamline and optimize these processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Utilise SAP functionalities to automate and enhance financial processes, such as financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Change Management and LEAN Implementation:
- Lead and support change management initiatives related to financial processes and systems.
- Apply LEAN principles to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and enhance overall process efficiency.
- SAP System Management:
- Utilize your expert knowledge of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) to optimize financial operations and reporting.
- Configure, customize, and enhance SAP functionalities to align with business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades, resolve issues, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for cost reduction, profitability improvement, and resource allocation.
- Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and key financial indicators to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments, such as operations, supply chain, and sales, to drive financial process improvements and achieve business objectives.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing financial expertise and guidance on decision-making processes.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, ideally within manufacturing
- Strong expertise in SAP, including hands-on experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, and SD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
