LEAN SIGMA MANUFACTURING EXPERTS - POST FILLED BY ROUNDPEG
An opportunity to join a well developed company delivering short term contracts in assisting the production of Standard Operating Procedure Design for a range of operational and logistical processes.
Capturing and documenting existing processes and improvements as they are identified. These SOPs will be used to train and guide new employees and a potential requirement for support and training to embed these new training procedures may be required.
The position will involve working collaboratively alongside existing team members to capture the processes and record ‘best practice’.
Specific support areas are:
- Facilities – SOP development around Manufacturing Process Start up, set up, changeover and maintenance (Collaborative development of SOPs with workforce)
- Raw Materials/Inventory - Review material flow, staging and storage, kitting of parts – develop improved operation/layout managing associated implementation works.
- Process Engineering – Operationalise production processes through standard work – SOP development, training of direct labour, workflow optimisation, coaching in problem solving.
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Manufacturing Experience
- Black Belt Qualifications/Certified
- Project Management Experience
- Consultancy Experience
- LEAN Sigma
5 x CONTRACTS - 3 & 6 months. Available Immediately
LOCATION – North East
SALARY - £550 per day excluding expenses
