STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
An opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic logistics organisation in an exciting time in their business as they prepare the business for a period of growth.
Reporting into our Director of Strategy and Change, the company is looking for a commercial and strategic analyst to take a lead role in all group strategic activity including but not limited to strategy formulation and execution, analytical appraisal of various strategic options, business case formulation, research and analysis.
The post is responsible for providing accurate, clear and objective analysis to support strategic and business development activities, ensuring all findings are clearly presented.
You must have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience providing strategic analysis within a corporate or PLC business, and have strong leadership experience.
- Previous background could be either management consulting or from Big 4 / mid-tier practice backgrounds providing strategic insight, analysis and consultation to PLC clientele.
- Possess a highly analytical, commercial and strategic background with an inquisitive and forward thinking nature - always challenging current methods and actively looking at ways to perform activities more efficiently.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting terms and practices along with the ability to think beyond immediate requirement to foster future innovation.
- The ability to assess certain scenario options and assessments and develop comprehensive business cases which are accurate, logical and relevant.
- You will have a consultative and collaborative approach.
- A strong customer service approach with excellent levels of engagement and influence with Senior leadership teams across the business.
LOCATION – UK
SALARY - £90,000 plus attractive package
